E Plant trees and flowers in your neighbourhood. E Use your bicycle instead of using the car or the bus. E Reuse and recycle. E Use recyclable bags.   E Throw the garbage into the appropriate rubbish bins. E You can preserve water and energy if you switch off and unplug every device you don’t need. E You can save water taking shorter showers, washing full loads of laundry and dishes. E Use the lights only if you need, if you are not at home, keep lights off. E Ask your parents to design an area in your yard to put the fruit peels and the uneaten food to make a compost. Every day we are becoming more aware of the effects of the global warming, so we have to work together to take care of our home “ The Earth ” because we have to leave a good place to live to our next generations. Being aware of our role in the world, I would like to invite you to reflect on these questions: E Do you love the place you live? E Do you love the nature? E Have you thought about your role in this wonderful planet? E Who are in charge to protect the environment? Are you a good citizen of this world?
